Question Tags, ¿Verdad?

Questions tags or tag questions correspond to ¿no? or ¿verdad? in Spanish.
Las «question tags» equivalen a ¿no? o ¿verdad? en español.

How do we form a question tag? Here you are just an example with the verb to be. However, you can learn more in the links below.
¿Cómo se forma una «question tag»? Aquí tenéis un ejemplo con el verbo ‘to be.’ Sin embargo, podéis aprender más en los vínculos de abajo.

We use the same form of the verb in the NEGATIVE, if the sentence is affirmative: aren’t you? isn’t he? isn’t she? isn’t it? aren’t we? aren’t you? aren’t they?
Usamos la misma forma del verbo en negativo, si la frase está en afirmativa.

Here you are some examples:

It’s a beautiful day, isn’t it? (Es un día hermoso, ¿no?)
Martha is angry, isn’t she? (Marta está enojada, ¿verdad?)
You are really tired, aren’t you? (Estás muy cansado, ¿no?)
They’re very nice people, aren’t they? (Son personas muy agradables, ¿no?)

If the sentense is negative, the «question tag» would come in the AFFIRMATIVE. En el caso de que la frase estuviera en negativa, la «question tag» iría en afirmativa.

It isn’t a beautiful day, is it? (No hace un buen día, ¿eh?)
You aren’t really tired, are you? (No estás muy cansado, ¿no?)
They aren’t very nice people, are they? (No son personas muy agradables, ¿verdad?)

ESTE ES SOLO EL CASO DEL VERBO TO BE, PARA EL RESTO DE LOS TIEMPOS, LAS QUESTION TAG SE FORMAN CON EL VERBO AUXILIAR. PARA MÁS INFORMACIÓN ESCUCHA EL VÍEDO Y LEE INFORMACIÓN EN LOS VÍNCULOS.

You work here, don’t you?
We’ll leave tomorrow, won’t we?
They went to New York, did they?
